The S101 series improved vanadium catalyst is one of our new products achieved based on modified formulation and improved manufacturing process. Although with lower bulk density, it has higher surface area and high porosity. Therefore, improved energy efficiency throughout the operating cycle can be ensured due to the low pressure drop.
As comparison with its counterparts, this range of improved vanadium catalyst product serves as the cost effective one that enables higher activity, lower loading coefficient, better conversion rate, and longer service life.
On the basis of modified formulation and improved manufacturing process, we successfully developed the S108 series improved vanadium catalyst, a new version of low temperature catalyst. It requires less start-up time, and offers higher activity under low temperature conditions. Due to its higher surface area and porosities, the product ensures improved conversion rate of sulfur dioxide.
Compared with the products of our domestic competitors, the improved vanadium catalyst has advantages that it offers lower loading coefficient, higher activity and longer service life so as to achieve the cost effective investment.
We can mainly supply three series catalyst as below, which are equivalent to overseas brands BASF-O4-110/O4-111, TOPSOE--VK38/48/59/69 and MECS-LP/XLP-120&110.
Type S101(04-110/VK38/LP-110)
There are four products of type S101, in details, they are S101 (Cylinder); S101-H (Ring); S101-MH (Star ring); S101-YH (Three-Ribs Cylinder).

Wide applicability, broad range of temperature, high conversion, and high mechanical strength etc. Ring or plum blossom shaped catalysts have solved some problems that cylinder shaped catalyst encountered; namely, they are small pellets, high pressure drop and high energy consumption, bad resistance of dust accumulation.
Type S101 series are broad temperature catalysts which suit for every bed of converter.
2.Type S108: S108 Cylinder; S108-H (Ring); S108-MH (Star ring); S108-YH (Three-Rib Cylinder)

The advantages of them are outstanding. In general, they are low ignition temperature, high activity in low temperature, high-resistant crushed strength etc. If can be used together with medium temperature type catalyst, such as, S101, you can make more profits; for instance, high conversion, and lowering environmental pollution.
Type S108 is low temperature catalysts which suit for 1/3 top of the first bed to decrease inlet operating temperature, and 4th bed, 5th bed to improve equilibrium conversion and decrease gas emission.
